The 3rd annual 86Fest presented by Turn14 was a great turn out! Lots of FRS/BRZ’s came out for display. Full picture blog after the jump! Which one is your favorite?
Last week we went out to the 2nd annual FT86 fest in Fontana Speedway. We brought out our genometuning family for some fun in the sun. Lots of new FRS/BRZ’s came out for display. How can we even choose one as our favorite? Full picture blog after the jump! Which one is your favorite?
Last week was the annual Spocom Autoshow at Anaheim Convention Center. This is one of our favorite events as it is a summer indoor event, which means staying out of the heat. We gathered some of our friends and sponsored the FRS/BRZ competition part of the show. Come check out the pictures after the break!
If it isn’t obvious by now, we love the FRS. Last Week we loaded up our company FRS and headed out to Paradise, Nevada to check out the first annual 86 Expo in Las Vegas. The event started with a cruise down to Vegas with our family and friends, starting with an Autocross event on June 14th at the Silverton Casino Lodge and Casino. The next day was followed by a Car Show at the Fletcher Jones Toyota Scion. We wanted to say hello again to all the new friends we’ve picked up along the way on this journey. We hope to see you guys again sometime soon! In the meantime, check out our gallery below!
We headed out to our hometown of Arcadia, CA to check out this years Autocon at the Santa Anita Racetrack. Autocon is known to bring out the best of the best, and they came in waves. Only the sharpest, fastest, and wildest rides are accepted into the show. We’ve met up with lots of our friends (such as the awesome owner of the widebody FRS above), the socal valley 86 group, and many many more. Of course like all the shows we go to, we made some great new friends as well! Autocon actually marks a very date for us at GenomeTuning – it marks the 1 year we’ve opened up our doors to the public! What a wild year it has been, and we’ve only just gotten started. Hit the jump for the rest of the gallery and please do like us on facebook if you want to subcribe to our future events!
It was a bright and sunny day out in Anaheim, California. We arrived early to talk to some of the Genome Tuning friends and family and of course made more new friends along the way. Caught a few glimpse of Extreme Autofest’s ritual drifting event as well. All in all, this year’s shows are turning up to be quite a spectacle, as new old cars and new cars battle it out for best car trophies. Everyone living in California should come out and check out the autoshow circuit as it comes to a town near you!

The 2013 show season has finally started! First out the door is the legendary Hot Import Nights that was held at the Fontana Auto Club Raceway. We stopped by early to hang out with friends and see what this year has to offer in the showcar circuit. We’ll let you judge for yourself! Pictures are after the break. Drop us a comment on our facebook page as well and throw us a like!
This weekend Genome Tuning went down to hang out at Evasive Motorsports for the FRS/BRZ meet and dyno. We met a lot of our friends from the FT86 forums and said hi to new ones as well. Evasive, Superstreet, and Project Mu all brought their project ft86 to display. We also brought our FRS along for the ride.. although its still an infant compared to these beasts. Pizzas and drinks were provided graciously by Evasive (I devoured a few slices of the hawaiian myself). Afterwards we watched as some of the FRS’s were put on the dyno for a wheel HP test. All in all, weather was amazing, the people were awesome, and we enjoyed ourselves meeting new people and saying hi to old ones!

Hello guys! We spent a whole day touring the L.A. Auto Show and what an amazing day it was. There were the new, the extreme, and the downright amazing at the show. There were plenty of world debut of technology filled cars like the Acura RL, the BMW i3 Coupe, and the Chevrolet Spark EV. There were also amazing supercars such as the Acura NSX concept, the Bentley Continental GT3, the Lexus LF-CC and the Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG Black Series (how about that for a mouthful?). In short, there was something for everyone. We took a trip down to the Kentia Hall, known as the tuner hall, to check out all the amazing one-off car designs.

Well, the glorious day was finally here. The world’s biggest aftermarket car show is finally under way. We could fill this with words about everything that happened, but as they say, pictures are worth 1000 words, so we think you should just enjoy the picture gallery from the many crazy, wacky, and downright insane creations we found at the 3 day event.
