The 3rd annual 86Fest presented by Turn14 was a great turn out! Lots of FRS/BRZ’s came out for display. Full picture blog after the jump! Which one is your favorite?
Last week we went out to the 2nd annual FT86 fest in Fontana Speedway. We brought out our genometuning family for some fun in the sun. Lots of new FRS/BRZ’s came out for display. How can we even choose one as our favorite? Full picture blog after the jump! Which one is your favorite?
If it isn’t obvious by now, we love the FRS. Last Week we loaded up our company FRS and headed out to Paradise, Nevada to check out the first annual 86 Expo in Las Vegas. The event started with a cruise down to Vegas with our family and friends, starting with an Autocross event on June 14th at the Silverton Casino Lodge and Casino. The next day was followed by a Car Show at the Fletcher Jones Toyota Scion. We wanted to say hello again to all the new friends we’ve picked up along the way on this journey. We hope to see you guys again sometime soon! In the meantime, check out our gallery below!
This weekend Genome Tuning went down to hang out at Evasive Motorsports for the FRS/BRZ meet and dyno. We met a lot of our friends from the FT86 forums and said hi to new ones as well. Evasive, Superstreet, and Project Mu all brought their project ft86 to display. We also brought our FRS along for the ride.. although its still an infant compared to these beasts. Pizzas and drinks were provided graciously by Evasive (I devoured a few slices of the hawaiian myself). Afterwards we watched as some of the FRS’s were put on the dyno for a wheel HP test. All in all, weather was amazing, the people were awesome, and we enjoyed ourselves meeting new people and saying hi to old ones!

This Sunday is was the 86fest car show/meet held at Auto Club Speedway in Fontana, CA. First of all, I want to say that the turnout for the event was SPECTACULAR. If Guinness world records was there, we definitely would have gotten the award for most FT86s in one place. Big props to the event organizers aswell, because it was like disneyland for car lovers. The AutoX track was a fun delight, and watching Greddy’s Ken Gushi burn some rubber on the track was quite a feat.
Anyway, we’ll just let the pictures speak for themselves! click after the jump!
